ELEMENTARY PIZZA DAY!
......GOOD ATTENDANCE MAKES IT POSSIBLE!

Recently I received some correspondence from the fifth graders. They requested Restaurant Pizza Day be reinstated! Several years ago we used to bring this event to the lunchroom about once every month or so. The practice was discontinued during the 2006-2007 school year.
After thinking about their request I decided we would do the following: Any K-6 classroom that achieves a 97% attendance rate for the next nine weeks will have a pizza party day; If there are no classrooms that maintain a 97% attendance rate then only one classroom (the one closest to 97%) will be awarded a pizza party day.
We will repeat the challenge for the last nine weeks but will end the attendance count a week early so that we can have the pizzas delivered to the winning classrooms!
