Shamrocks

by Rita Heithoff

February 21, 2008

The Kindergarten Art Class have been busy making shamrocks for St. Patrick's Day.  They traced 3 hearts and a triangle onto white paper. Their next step was to cut out the shapes and glue them to green paper in a shamrock design.

Glue the shapes

The class used their scissors to cut out the shamrock.  Their next step was to apply glue to the white side of their shamrock and glue it to a piece of dark green paper.  Their shamrock was now ready for decoration!  Using blue and green markers the class added stripes and dots to their shamrock to create pattern and interest.
