2008 Statewide Parent Involvement Conference

31st Annual PIC Conference

All parents are invited to attend the 2008 Statewide Parent Involvement Conference on October 11, 2008, in Kearney, NE.  There are many sessions available for parents to attend pertaining from elementary age children up to high school age.  The sessions are designed to give educational information to parents about challenges and issues facing families in today's world.  Some sessions include topics:

"Bullying"

"Stress Busters for Children and Families"

"Role Playing-Teach Children Respect"

"Helping Children with Disabilities"

"Drugs & Our Youth"

"Preparing for College"

"What Do I Do with this Kid"
